Who we are

CARMË pronounced [ 𝘬𝘢𝘳-𝘮𝘦𝘩 ] is a Sydney based online platform translating a vision of timeless design through a careful selection of both archival and current luxury designer items from around the world.

We are passionate about every item we source. In our quest to bring our clients the most sought out pieces, we have had the opportunity to connect with and establish a network of people taking us on adventures to local markets, online entities and often in people’s homes. Those who have owned, cherished, collected memories with and contributed to the history of these bags and accessories.

We believe that quality withstands the test of time, emphasising the importance of investing in products that prioritise quality, exploring the history of the item and understanding the value the items possess. Our aim is to bring you a selection of luxury items that become possessions for life and serve more the longevity within design as opposed to short-lived trends. 

Through an exploration of art and design we  discover our unique self expression. Each item is handpicked catering to the contemporary wardrobe with a focus to find unique pieces that highlight the best of past eras.

Curated & Conscious

When we purchase pre-loved items, we are giving new life to existing products, rather than contributing to the demand for new products that require the consumption of resources and energy to produce. This act of reusing and repurposing items reduces waste and conserves resources. Additionally, luxury items were made with a focus on quality and durability, which means that they are often more long-lasting than newer, cheaper items. By choosing pre-loved, we can reduce our environmental impact and support a more sustainable way of living. Moreover, it allows us to discover unique and interesting items with a history and character that cannot be found in mass-produced products.
